Job Description

CHEK ABC is a K-12 Provincial Online Learning School (POLS), providing fully accredited,
Christian education to students in BC. CHEK ABC is currently looking for a passionate and
professional Christian BC certified teacher to work with families and students, and provide
guidance and support via individualized, online, and face-to-face learning options in our K-9
enrolled program in Cranbrook BC.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
 strong leadership skills, integrity, and professionalism
 strong interpersonal, communication, classroom management, and organization skills
 ability to plan and implement student learning plans
 ability to support students with course adaptions and I.E.P.s
 ability to communicate professionally with students and parents both online and in
person
 ability to assess student work and write report cards
 a good understanding of Christian home education
 strong technical skills

A valid BC teaching certificate is required.
Salary range is based on student load and runs from $1,063-$1,467 per regular student.
Additional hourly pay is provided for in-person teaching.
