Blended Learning

In various communities throughout BC, blended learning options may be offered. Blended Learning provides the opportunity for students to continue their studies at home, while having the option for some classroom based experience. Teachers co-ordinate and arrange for learning and activities that meet the needs and interests of students and parents. This includes academic or elective classes, cross-curricular camps, local workshops and special activities.

Vendors

CHEK ABC utilizes a centralized purchasing system and highly encourages families to access the Librarium to borrow non-consumable resources. This frees up additional Third Party funds to be used on lessons, activities, etc.

Parents also have the option of sourcing their own materials for home learning. CHEK ABC encourages using Purchase Orders for Third Party activities and consumable resources only.

Purchase Order numbers are provided only to families who require them and can be used to purchase what is needed from any of our listed vendors. If you want to use a vendor not represented on the list, please ask and we can make arrangements to add them.

CHEK ABC can pay for required activities directly. This includes activities such as athletic, music, or art lessons in the community. Instructors bill CHEK ABC directly for fees using our easy billing form.
