CHEK ABC All-in-One Curriculum

The All-in-One curriculum is a comprehensive resource bundle designed to meet all of the BC Ministry of Education learning outcomes for each grade level.

These bundles have been carefully curated by our curriculum consulting team, to not only provide engaging learning materials, but to simplify the complex, and sometimes overwhelming process of choosing curriculum.

Our All-in-One curriculum is broken down into 3 parts:

  1. Resources ($200-$300 Value)

All-in-One provides all of the needed consumable, non-consumable, print and on line resources for a successful year of home education. Resources have been carefully selected and come in one complete package. With the streamlined All-in-One process, the resources are kept in stock and can be shipped and delivered quickly to your home (or available for pick-up for local families).

Each All-in-One bundle is a complete curriculum so swapping out or changing resources is not allowed. You can, however, special order extra or additional resources for a cost (see cost section below). Non-consumable resources , such as text books, novels etc, are loaned out to your family and you are responsible for mailing them back to us at the end of the school year with our free return shipping program.

  1. On-line Subscriptions ($150 value): ‘All-in-One’ provides the top 5 on-line subscriptions to enrich your child(ren)’s learning experience at no additional cost. These Include:

    • Mathletics – 4-9 / Mathseeds – K-3
    • IXL Reading – 3-9 / Reading Eggs – K-2
    • All the Right Type – All
    • Codingville – K-9
    • Mango Languages – All

(Note: We reserve the right to change or substitute subscriptions as new or better ones are acquired)

  1. Third Party Funds ($600 value). We provide up to $600 towards third party activities, such as physical education, music, or art lessons that can be taken right in your community.

The ‘All-in-One’ curriculum is geared for those who are new to home education or those who would like a simplified approach to curriculum selection.

All K-9 enrolled students pay a one-time, non-refundable tuition of $120, regardless of curriculum choices.

There is a flat rate of $300 deducted from the student allotment for the All-in-One curriculum bundle. The All-in-One bundle provides great savings to families. To purchase equivalent resources individually would deduct $300-$500 from the allotment. Families still have access to the Third Party funds of $600 for activities, activity passes, learning centre classes, private lessons, etc.

In the regular Enrolled K-9 program, we charge a Librarium fee to cover the cost of the Librarium staff researching and ordering specialized resources for families. With the All-in-One curriculum, options are streamlined and resources are ordered in bulk. This saves staff time, and we pass the savings on to you.

The advantage and extra value of the All-in-One curriculum bundle comes from the fact it is pre-picked, packed and ready to go! For that reason swapping our resources is not allowed. Families are always welcome to special order supplementary resources at a cost.

Third party funds are allocated for activities, activity passes, learning centre classes, or lessons provided by a facility or teacher of your choice.
For example: swim club, violin lessons, etc.

Yes! As with all of our K-9 enrolled students, a BC certified, CHEK ABC teacher works with you to create and implement your child’s learning plan. Throughout the year, your partner teacher is available to help you as you homeschool.
Support is just a phone call or email away.

Yes. As with all of our K-9 enrolled students, 3 report cards are issued each year. Feedback, comments and suggestions are based on work-samples that you submit to your partner teacher.

The All-in-One curriculum does not contain any mandatory online classes. It does however, include access to popular online subscriptions to support your student learning plan.

How do I choose the All-in-One curriculum bundle?

After completing K-9 enrollment, your teacher will reach out to have an ‘SLP’ meeting where you will work together to formulate the ‘Student Learning Plan’. It is during this meeting the curriculum choices will be discussed and decided upon.
