Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to work with Grade 12 student in Abbotsford BC, in a home education context. This position is in person for 6 hours per week .
Rate per hour: $23 to $29
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Assistant Certificate/Behaviour Intervention training is an asset but not required
- Experience supporting students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools and strategies, as well as emotional
regulation supports, is an asset but not required. - Experience using TouchChat is considered an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a home-based learning environment.
- Ability to reliably travel to and work at the student’s home-based learning location.
